By engaging with LFB Plasma, through our centers, website, application, and any other channels where you may interact with LFB Plasma, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Before registering as a donor, you should read this entire Privacy Policy which we may change any time. Your use of the LFB Plasma website and application following these changes means that you have read and understand, and you consent to the processing of your information for the purposes as described in this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for changes.

When setting up and configuring your user account using the Website or Application, or in a LFB Plasma Center, we may collect your name, email address, city, state, country, zip code, phone number, phone type, address, User ID, password, preferred language, date of birth, ethnicity, and sex.
Donation Process
Personal information is collected during the screening process, physical examination and various points during the donation process, and post-donation, as needed. The personal information collected includes government-issued identification number (e.g. social security number), health information, personal behavior, photograph, fingerprint scan and any other information needed to determine donor eligibility.
Location Services
We may collect your device’s location information to offer location-based services such as navigation and distance calculations, to generate personalized content for marketing purposes and to enhance our security features to protect your personal information.
Public Sources
We may collect information about you from publicly available information sources such as social media platforms and other third parties, including but not limited to public posts, comments, and interactions, public profiles and user information, and publicly shared multimedia content for market insights and feedback.
Donor Satisfaction
We may ask you about your satisfaction with the donation process, and the use of the Website or Application in a survey. This data may be processed by a third-party survey provider who assists us in conducting these surveys. Participation in these surveys is voluntary.
Under Age 18
We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. The Website and Application are designed for a general audience and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
HOW DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA
We collect Personal Data from varied sources, including:
- You, when you set up an account with us, engage our services, complete forms we provide to you, contact us by phone, email, or communicate with us.
- The LFB Plasma website collects information about how you use the website.
- Third parties may provide Personal Data about you including references if you are a job applicant.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
LFB Plasma does not sell your Personal Data, however we may share it with the following third parties for a business purpose:
- LFB Plasma staff – your Personal Data will be accessed by our staff but only where this is necessary for their job role.
- LFB Plasma affiliates – for the purpose of providing services and complying with laws.
- Government agencies or our regulators – where we are required to do so by law or to assist with their investigations or initiatives.
- Police and law enforcement – to assist with the investigation and prevention of crime.
- Other service providers and advisors – such as companies that:

- help us analyze the data we hold

- Business transactions. If the LFB Plasma is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, personal may be transferred. We will provide notice before Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
LFB Plasma collects and processes only the information that is necessary to fulfill specific purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
HOW WE WILL KEEP YOUR DATA SECURE
LFB Plasma implements commercially reasonable and appropriate technical, physical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information from misuse or accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, acquisition or access.
WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
Under certain circumstances you may have the right to:

- Request correction of the Personal Data that we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your Personal Data where there is no practical reason for us continuing to have the data.
- Know types of third parties LFB Plasma has shared your information with.

We will investigate any request you make promptly and in any event within 45 days of receipt of your request, which we may extend by an additional 45 days where necessary. We will inform you of any such extension. Should we decide to not take action on the request, we will inform you of the reason for withholding action.
HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA?
We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal or reporting requirements. In some circumstances we may anonymize your Personal Data so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.
BIOMETRICS
We may use biometric equipment for identity verification, time keeping or other similar purposes. The biometric equipment may scan an individual’s finger, hand or face (“Biometric Information”).
When Biometric Information is collected and when required by law, we will provide the required informational notice and obtain appropriate consent.
Biometric Information will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected and will be retained in accordance with applicable law. LFB Plasma and our biometric equipment vendors will use a reasonable standard of care to store or transmit Biometric Information, as we do with other confidential information, and Biometric Information may be disclosed to, and may be accessible by, LFB Plasma and our biometric equipment vendors only. We will not sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from Biometric Information and will not disclose it to other third parties unless:
- The disclosure completes a financial transaction requested and authorized by you;
- The disclosure is required by state or federal law, or municipal ordinance;
- The disclosure is required pursuant to a valid warrant or subpoena, issued by a court of competent jurisdiction; or
- We have received consent from you to the disclosure.
